Inpatients
We care for people in our hospital with the following conditions:
- Malnutrition or poor intake
- Those requiring alternative feeding methods (e.g. enteral nutrition)
- Kidney conditions
- Gastrointestinal problems
- Cancer
- Eating Disorders
- Paediatric Nutrition
Your doctor or nurse will refer you to the dietitian during your inpatient stay if it is required. You can also request to see a dietitian if you have any concerns about your nutrition.
Outpatients
Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) Clinic
Support for poor nutritional status and tube feeding.
General Clinic
Support for a variety of conditions including malnutrition, weight management, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
Paediatric Clinic
Support for infants, children and adolescents, including: Failure to thrive, weight management, tube feeding, poor nutritional status fussy eating and gastrointestinal conditions.
Gastroenterology Clinic
Support for various gastrointestinal disorders including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility disorders and patients post gastrointestinal surgery.
Services are available to residents within Georges River Council that meet referral criteria (please see 'referrals' tab). Alternatively, find a private or NDIS Accredited Practicing Dietitian in your area.
