Mental Health Rehabilitation Inpatient Service
What we do?
The Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit promotes recovery and prevents relapse of mental illness through best practice multidisciplinary and integrated care, incorporating innovative rehabilitation assessment, treatment and consultation.
What to expect?
Based on the principles of recovery and biopsychosocial rehabilitation, the Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit addresses individual recovery needs with appropriate involvement of family and carers. The staff promote individual choice, skills for successful community living and involvement in community-based services. A clinician can help with managing mental health declines, coping with distress and ways to improve mental health and wellbeing.
For any mental distress, please call the NSW Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511. If life is at risk please call Triple Zero (000) to receive immediate help.
