Thank Your Cleaner Day

Corporate Support Services staff from across SESLHD celebrated Thank Your Cleaner Day on Wednesday, 16 October 2024. 

The teams play a pivotal role in contributing to the delivery of safe patient care and a positive patient, carer and visitor journey through our facilities. They look after a broad range of corporate support service functions including cleaning, linen, waste and portering. 

“I really enjoy my role, interacting with staff across The Sutherland Hospital and often solving some challenging issues,” said Santos Sherchan, Linen Officer. 

Morning and afternoon teas across all sites and services were held, allowing staff a moment to celebrate and reflect on their contributions together.     

Specially branded drink bottles were handed out as part of their celebrations.  

The dedication and commitment of the cleaners, and all support services staff is appreciated and recognition on this special day is well deserved.
