National Doctors Day was celebrated in style at the Royal Hospital for Women, with special gifts for doctors, and free coffees for all staff.

There aren’t many women with the fortitude to embark on a PhD after four children at the age of 52, but the Royal Hospital for Women’s Ellen Barlow is one of them.

It’s no doubt that staff at the Royal Hospital for Women have gone above and beyond their duty to keep patients safe and cared for during these turbulent times.

The Royal Hospital for Women introduced its homebirth program for women with low risk pregnancies in 2018.

They work tirelessly to deliver around-the-clock care for our tiniest, most vulnerable patients, such as babies born at just 22 weeks gestation, no bigger than a tub of butter.
