Tertiary Referral Service for Psychosis (Mindgardens)

Who is it for?

The Tertiary Referral Service for Psychosis (TRSP) is a state-wide service that offers intensive and individualised therapeutic approaches for people who live with complex psychotic disorders. Typically, such people have already tried multiple services and treatment approaches, often over many years, without finding support that is truly helpful to them.

What is it about?

The TRSP is a pilot service for NSW hosted by South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) to improve the lives of adults living with complex psychotic illnesses. The TRSP is a consultation and liaison service supporting NSW in-patient and adult community mental health teams to formulate and implement individualised treatment-based, consumer-centred recommendations tailored to the resources available in the individual’s current settings.

The TRSP offers comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments utilising trauma and recovery-informed frameworks in collaborative care planning with individuals, their families/carers, and referring teams.

To find out more about the service or to discuss a potential referral, please contact us or download the guides below.

Location

The TRSP is based at the Prince of Wales Hospital, SESLHD, and accepts appropriate referrals state-wide. We offer assessments by telehealth as well as in person.
