How to find us
The Edmund Blacket Building is the sandstone building located near Gate 6 off Avoca Street, Randwick, NSW 2032
(Building 5 on our campus map).
Residents of Randwick, Bayside, Waverly, and Woollahra are eligible for our equipment loan service. We also offer limited services to the eastern part of Sydney City.
We do not loan equipment to permanent residents of nursing homes or private hospitals. Clients moving out of the area or into a nursing home must notify the Equipment Loan Service and return the borrowed equipment.
To loan equipment, you must be assessed by a NSW Health Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Nursing staff member. The health professional will install the equipment in your home and educate you and your carers on its safe use.
To get a referral to an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, call our intake service at 02 9369 0400 and request a home assessment for equipment.
You are responsible for the cost of lost or damaged equipment beyond normal wear and tear. An invoice will be sent for the replacement cost of such items.
