Child & Family Health Nursing Service

Having a new baby in the family can be a wonderful experience but adjusting to parenthood brings many challenges and responsibilities.

Our Child and Family Health Nurses provide help to children and families to support healthy growth and relationships. They will do “blue book” checks, which are health checks for children from 7 days old to 5 years old. Nurses can also answer questions about breastfeeding, mental health, sleep, play, potty training, nutrition, behaviour, safety, family life, and more!

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and waterways on which we work, live and travel through.

We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders past and present.
